City of Benicarló Musical Association

The origin of this Music Band dates back to the early 1840s. It currently has a staff of 115 musicians. The band performs in the town on numerous occasions, so you have to check the agenda to know their performances, although we can highlight some concerts that are already traditional in the cultural agenda of Benicarló:

• 15-19 March: Benicarló in Fallas, offering of flowersto the Virgin of the Sea.
• Palm Sunday: traditional concert of the Youth Band in the Plaça de Sant Joan
• Palm Sunday: procession of descent of the Christ of the Sea.

• Holy Week: processions on Good Thursday and Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
• June: school auditions and musical parade through the streets of the center.
• July: Youth Band Concert: outdoor dance. Pl. de l'Ajuntament
• July: concert of music in the cinema. Pl. de Sant Bartomeu 
• Patron Saint Festivities: 23 August, traditional Serenata a San Bartolomé. Pl. de Sant Bartomeu
• Patron Saint Festivities: 24 August. Procession of the patron saints of the city.
• November: concert and festivity of Santa Cecilia.
• December: exaltation of the Falleras Mayores of Benicarló
• December: performance in the theat ral play L'estel del Collet, Christmasin Benicarló
