With the lowest rainfall in Europe (250 mm per year), Mediterranean temperatures ranging from an average of 17ºC in January to 29ºC in August and 11 km of the most important Spanish Mediterranean (16 km) dune forest, Guardamar is the ideal place for sports in all seasons of the year.

Throughout the year many Spanish and Northern and Eastern European sport teams make Guardamar their home: especially in winter and spring. This includes football teams, swimming, cycling, hiking or orienteering amongst others. Not only do we enjoy of a beautiful and natural environment.
